Memory Vault

Your personal Vault

How does Memory Vault work?

Choose a category, create a memory, add information or documents, and keep it organized in your Vault. Find and update records when you need them, share selected content and set reminders for important dates.

Can I upload documents?

Yes. Store important documents and files in your personal Vault and organize them into suitable categories. Available storage and file requirements depend on your account or program.

Can I edit or add to my memories?

Yes. Open the memory from your dashboard, choose the editing option, make your changes and save. You can also add new memories and documents as your information changes.

Can I take my data out of MV?

MV’s published terms describe export in human-readable HTML and machine-readable XML. Check the export options available in your account, or contact MV for help before closing it.

Do I have to verify my identity to use a personal Vault?

Identity verification is optional in the personal Vault demonstration. You can organize your documents and memories without beginning IDV. A specific organization or service may require verification for its own workflow.

Memory Vault

Account & subscription

What happens if I stop paying or cancel?

Cancelling renewal and closing an account are different actions. MV’s current terms state that access ends when the subscription expires. Review your plan, export important information and ask MV about applicable retention and deletion before closing your account.

What rights do I have after creating an account?

Your account use is governed by MV’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Creating an account permits use under the applicable terms; it does not transfer ownership of the platform or software to you.

Can children use Memory Vault?

MV’s published terms say the platform is not directed to minors. Any permitted use by a minor should involve parental or guardian guidance, supervision and consent, subject to the applicable terms.

Can the Terms & Conditions change?

Yes. MV may publish updated terms on its platform or website. Review the current version and any notices relevant to your account before continuing to use the service.

Where can I find current plans and prices?

See MV’s live Secure Vault page for published plans, and review the applicable terms before subscribing. An organization-sponsored Vault program may have different arrangements.

Trusted Contacts & security

What is a Trusted Contact?

A person you designate in connection with your Vault. Choose carefully, review the information you intend to share and keep contact details current. Naming a contact does not by itself establish Power of Attorney authority.

What happens if I die or become incapacitated?

Keep your Trusted Contacts and relevant documents up to date. A designated contact should contact MV about the applicable process and required evidence. Access or account management should not be assumed to transfer automatically; MV must review the request under its current procedures.

Can a Power of Attorney contact verify their identity?

The proposed MV workflow allows an owner to invite a designated POA contact to complete IDV and attach the result to that contact’s record. Identity verification confirms identity; reviewing the POA appointment and authority is a separate process.

How is my data protected?

MV’s published Vault offering includes encrypted storage and two-factor authentication. Keep your password private, protect your sign-in and review sharing settings. See MV’s security and privacy information for further details.

Who can see my information?

Review your selected sharing permissions and the purpose of each request. Vault sharing and an identity transfer to a DTP participant are deliberate actions. Consult the Privacy Policy for how MV and its service providers handle information.

ID Verification

Who powers MV’s ID Verification services?

MV uses Plaid services for identity verification. MV manages the customer or organization workflow, while the configured verification service performs the applicable checks.

Which organizations use ID Verification or Proof of Life?

Examples include banks, credit unions, insurers, pension administrators, government agencies, consulates and professional-service organizations working with remote or international customers. Each program’s use case and acceptance requirements must be agreed.

How long does verification take?

The digital steps may be completed within minutes, but timing varies with document quality, required checks, retries and any additional review. Follow the instructions for your specific request.

Which identity documents can I use?

Common options may include passports, national identity cards, driver’s licences and residence permits. Accepted documents depend on the country, service configuration and requesting organization. Use the options shown in your verification journey.

How does ID Verification work?

Follow the approved verification link and review the request. Depending on the configured workflow, you may provide personal details, an identity document and a selfie or liveness check. The organization applies its acceptance rules to the result.

What if verification fails?

Follow the guidance provided for your request. You may be asked to retry, supply clearer evidence or use an alternative route. Retry limits and review procedures depend on the program; a successful result is not guaranteed.

Memory Vault

Proof of Life

What is Proof of Life?

A check intended to establish that a live person is present during a requested verification. It is used in eligible pension, benefit, insurance and other programs. It does not by itself establish ongoing eligibility or legal authority.

How is Proof of Life completed?

An agreed digital workflow may use a selfie and liveness check. Follow the requesting organization’s instructions and evidence requirements; the exact process depends on the program.

How often do I need to provide Proof of Life?

The requesting organization determines the schedule. A program may request it annually, semi-annually or at another agreed interval. Follow the deadline in your invitation.

Can I complete Proof of Life remotely?

MV supports digital workflows that can be completed remotely where accepted by the requesting program. Confirm whether your organization requires additional evidence or an alternative process.

Memory Vault

Devices & international access

Can I use MV while living abroad?

MV is designed to support remote users, including diaspora communities. Availability, document support and acceptance depend on the country, service and organization. Confirm the requirements for your intended request.

Which countries are supported?

Coverage varies by service and document type and may be affected by applicable restrictions. Confirm availability with MV or your requesting organization rather than relying on a fixed country list.

Which devices can I use?

Use a supported smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection. Camera access may be required for verification. MV also offers mobile apps; check the relevant store listing for compatibility.

Memory Vault

Digital Trust Platform & this demo

Can I enter DTP through my own personal Vault?

Yes, the platform is designed with a personal route alongside the organization-led route. Create or access a Vault, choose optional IDV, retain the verified identity and select a participant when you wish to share it.

Does verifying my identity automatically share it with organizations?

No. Memory Vault strictly separates consent to verification and Vault storage from consent to a participant transfer. Review the recipient, purpose and requested fields before authorizing each share.

Will a participant always accept my stored identity?

No. A participant determines whether verification is sufficiently current and meets its requirements. Additional checks may be necessary, and identity sharing does not guarantee an account or application approval.

Are the interactive registration and identity journeys live?

The embedded organization registration, personal Vault IDV and DTP journeys are demonstration workflows. Live production workflows are securely transmitted to MV for onboarding under agreed service agreements.
